Contour map. (Kauppi descriiption)

This is a US Forest Service Map labeled Jawbone Unit Stanislaus National Forest. It covers from Reed Creek in the north west to .the Cherry Creek in the south east. The map has been torn or cut and is in two pieces. On the right side of what would be the right side is a set of tables. They are estimates of timber by section and by species. A notation at the bottom indicates the data is the result of a survey by C. M. Evans and Field Party, filed season 1927. This section also has the map legend which is quite extensive. The map is a contour map and contains a lot of detail. In addition to the contours, it shows the railroad grade the timber species, local landmarks such as "Broken Down Porch Cabin", fence lines, telephone lines, roads, springs, rock outcrops and many other features.
